Tiny Orchard Days is comfort food in game form. You tend a little orchard, plant trees, harvest fruit and slowly turn a scruffy plot into something you're proud of. There's no pressure and no punishing energy meters — it just lets you potter about at your own pace.
The controls are all gentle taps and drags, and the game autosaves constantly, so it fits into odd little moments in the day. We found ourselves opening it just to water things and rearrange fences, which says a lot about how relaxing it is.
It won't blow anyone away with depth, but that's not the point. Sometimes you want a game that's kind to you, and this one is.
