Iron Tide Command
Iron Tide Command drops you into tight naval skirmishes where every ship placement counts. It's real-time, but slow enough to think — you're reading wind, angles and enemy formations rather than mashing buttons. The learning curve is real, and the early missions do a decent job easing you in before things open up.
What we liked most is how readable the battlefield stays on a small screen. Ships, ranges and threats are all colour-coded clearly, so you're never squinting to figure out why you just lost a fleet. Pinch to zoom, drag to reposition — it all works the way your thumbs expect.
It's not the friendliest genre for mobile, but this is one of the better attempts we've played. Give it a couple of missions to click and it becomes hard to put down.
What we liked
- Thoughtful, positional battles
- Very readable on small screens
